                  Tuesday, Oct. 4 thru Saturday, Oct. 8

                  9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily

                 

Venues: Sunbrook and SunRiver Bowls Clubs

 

Divisions: 50–69, 70+

 

Sport Fee: $3 Per Event

 

REGISTRATION RULES

- Tournament is open to members of any Lawn Bowls Club or any individual with proper USLBA instruction accreditation.

- 32 team limit in Pairs and Triples.

 

FORMAT / RULES

- USLBA rules will govern play.

- Bowls must comply with USLBA regulations.

- Five games guaranteed in Pairs and Triples.

- All teams shall be mixed and/or matched.

- Dress shall be whites.

- Smooth-soled, heel-less shoes are required (any color).

- Team’s age division will be determined by the averaged ages of the team members.

- Schedule: Pairs--Tuesday / Wednesday; Singles--Thursday (one day only); Triples--Friday / Saturday.

- Singles format will be determined by the number of bowlers.

- Pairs and Triples Format:

> On the first day, each team will play 4 qualifying games (Pairs-12 ends, Triples-10 ends or 1 hr-15 min time limit).

> First day qualifying games will be scored with Game Points (2 for win, 1 for tie, 0 for loss) and Differential Score Points (up to +/- 10).

> After the 4 qualifying games, if there is a tie in Game and Differential Score Points between teams, tie-breaking formula (total points for / total points against) will break ties.

> Second day of each event will be a single elimination bracket with teams seeded from results of first day game play. Games will be 12 ends for Pairs, 10 ends for Triples.

> At least the final 8 teams in each event will play off to determine the top 8 places and age group medals, if necessary.

- Participants must present their HWSG ID Badge and Lawn Bowls Accreditation by 8:00 am at the SunRiver venue check-in on the first day of each event.

- Tournament draws: 8:45 am on the first day of each event at SunRiver Community Center. Bowling begins at 9:00 am sharp.

 

MEDALS

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each age division. Overall Event Tournament Winners will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and 4^th, 5^th, and 6^th place ribbons. All awards will be presented at the Sport Sponsor Social.
