                  Wednesday, Oct. 12, 8:00 am to 9:30 pm

                  Thursday, Oct. 13, 8:00 am to 9:30 pm

                  Friday, Oct. 14, 8:00 am to 9:30 pm

                  Saturday, Oct. 15, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm

 

Venues: Gold’s Gym, St. George Recreation Center, Desert Palms Health & Racquet Club

 

Divisions: 5-Year Age Brackets (see Page 5)

 

Sport Fee: $15 Per Event

 

REGISTRATION RULES

- USRA membership is required for participation. For USRA membership information call USA Racquetball at 719-635-5396 or visit their website at USRA.org. USRA memberships may also be purchased or renewed at the venue check-in desk. The fee for a one-year membership is $30.

- Current USRA members must include their USRA Card expiration date on their registration form.

- Participation is limited to two events: either (1) Singles and (1) Doubles or (2) Doubles events. Participants will not be allowed to play in (2) Singles events.

- If you would like to play in the doubles event but do not have a partner, indicate so on the registration form and pay for the event. We will find a partner for you if possible.

- Racquetball participants may not enter other sports scheduled from October 12 thru October 15 without prior approval from the Racquetball Director.

 

FORMAT / RULES

- Tournament is USRA sanctioned--USRA rules will apply.

- Eye protection is mandatory during all practice and play. No exceptions!

- Bring your own towel.

- Schedule will be posted at the Dixie Center and on individual sheets distributed to participants at their first match.

- Tournament will be round robin of up to 9 players in a panel. Each match will be 2 games to 15 points. Each point is counted win or lose. Three points are added for each game won and 4 points for each match won.

- Participants must present their HWSG ID Badge and USRA Card at the venue check-in desk 30 minutes before their first match.

 

MEDALS

Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded in each event for each division. Medals will be presented at the Sport Sponsor Social.
