ROAD RACES - 10K

                  (Last bus departs at 8:00 am)

 

Venue: Snow Canyon State Park to Ivins City Park

 

Divisions: 5-Year Age Brackets (see Page 5)

 

Sport Fee: $6 Per Person

 

FORMAT / RULES

- Participants must present their HWSG ID Badge at the venue check-in desk (Ivins City Park) between 7:15 am and 7:45 am the morning of the race.

- Runners will be bused up West Canyon to the starting point in beautiful Snow Canyon State Park.

- Last bus will leave Ivins City Park promptly at 8:00 am.

- The beginning portion of the race will be on a well-maintained dirt road. The race will finish on a paved road at Ivins City Park.

 

MEDALS

- Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers of each age division.

- Overall medals will be awarded to the overall top male and overall top female finishers.

- Medals will be awarded following the race at the Sport Sponsor Social.

                  Thursday, Oct. 6, 9:00 am: 5K

 

Venue: Confluence and Fort Pearce Trails (Meet at Dixie Center South Parking Lot)

 

Divisions: 5-Year Age Brackets (see Page 5)

 

Sport Fee: $6 Per Event

 

REGISTRATION RULES

- Participants may enter either the 5K or Half-Marathon event, not both.

 

FORMAT / RULES

- The 5K is an out-and-back course on the Confluence Trail.

- The Half-Marathon is a loop course using a portion of the Confluence and Fort Pearce Trails.

- Both races will begin on the Confluence Trail. Meet at Confluence Trailhead (Dixie Center south parking lot).

- For the 5K event, participants may run or walk.

- For the Half-Marathon event, only runners able to complete the race within 3.0 hours will be permitted to enter.

- Participants must present their HWSG ID Badge at the venue check-in desk 30 minutes before the start of their race.
