                  Square Dance: Plus and Advanced

                  Round Dance: Phases 2-6

 

Sport Fee: $10 Per Person

 

FORMAT / RULES

- Participants must present their HWSG ID Badge at the venue check-in desk prior to their first session.

- All dancing will be on wood floors.

- Casual dress for day sessions; Square Dance attire for evening and competition sessions.

- Competition Divisions: Mainstream, Plus, Advanced and Random Plus. Competition is optional.

Morning: 9:30 am to Noon--Squares

Afternoon: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm--Rounds

Evening: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm--Pre-Rounds

                  8:00 pm to 10:00 pm--Dance

 

Tuesday

Morning: 9:00 am to Noon--Competition (optional)

Afternoon: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm--Squares & Rounds

Evening: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm--Ceremonies--Grand March

 

Wednesday

Morning: 9:30 am to Noon--Squares & Rounds

Evening: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm--Pre-Rounds

                  8:00 pm to 10:00 pm--Dance

 

Thursday

Morning: 10:00 am to Noon--Social and Medal Presentation

Afternoon: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm--Final Dance

 

MEDALS

- Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to all members of the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place squares in each Square Dance division.

- No medals will be awarded in Round Dancing.
