Schedule: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm daily

                  Mondays: Oct. 3 and 10

                  Wednesdays: Oct. 5 and 12

                  Friday: Oct. 7

                  Thursday: Oct. 13

 

Venue: Meet at Dixie Center Southwest Parking Lot

 

Divisions: None

 

Sport Fee: $3 Per Event

 

REGISTRATION RULES

- Walking Tours are considered "social" events and are open to all athletes and registered guests. Sport fees apply.

- Participants may register for one or all six walks.

 

FORMAT / RULES

- All Walks / Hikes are leisurely.

- Transportation, snacks and water will be provided.

- Ending times listed above are approximate.

- Naturalist Ranger Bart Anderson will share amazing insights and stories on the Walks.

- All Walks, except the Historic Walks (Wednesdays) are on dirt trails--hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes are recommended. No sandals!

- Distances listed below are approximate.

- Participants must present their HWSG ID Badge at the check-in area (Dixie Center southwest parking lot) between 8:30 am and 8:45 am prior to each Walk. Buses will transport participants to the venues and will leave promptly at 9:00 am.

Monday, Oct. 3--Snow Canyon Lava Tube Hike, 2 mi

Wednesday, Oct. 5--Historic City Walk, 2 mi

Friday, Oct. 7--Lost Gold Mine, 3.5 mi

Monday, Oct. 10--Early Irrigation Trail Hike, 4 mi

Wednesday, Oct. 12--Historic City Walk, 2 mi

Thursday, Oct. 13--Johnson's Arch--Snow Canyon, 2.5 mi

 

MEDALS

- This is not a competitive event--no medals will be awarded.

- Participants completing any 3 Walks / Hikes will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
