GAMES PHONE NUMBER
Beginning October 2, the Games headquarters shifts to the Dixie Center from our regular offices.   From that day on, ALL phone inquiries should be directed to the Information Desk.  When the Games are going on, our staff is “out in the trenches” and it’s quite possible that no one would be at the regular phone number to answer your call.

WHAT ABOUT CHANGES?
We do everything we can to make sure your printed Official Program has the most accurate information.  However, occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances (remember the rain last year?), changes must be made.  We will make every effort to have the most updated information available at the Information Desk (435-674-5060), on the website (www.seniorgames.net) and in the Sports Den at the Dixie Center.  We will also post updates on our facebook page (www.facebook.com/worldseniorgames).  If you haven’t already “Liked” us, now would be a great time.

OPENING CEREMONIES
Don’t miss the 25th edition of the Huntsman World Senior Games Opening Ceremonies.  The ceremonies begin on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 pm at the Dixie State College Hansen Stadium (corner of 700 East and 600 South).  Those wishing to participate in the Parade of Athletes (and we hope that’s all of you!), should be in place at 6:45 pm.

In addition to some incredible singing and dancing, the lighting of the cauldron and fireworks, you’ll enjoy the incredible Flag Extravaganza.  This year’s featured speaker is seven-time Olympic medalist, Shannon Miller who will share her Olympic experience.  Attendance is free for everyone.

SCHEDULES
Where applicable, sport schedules will be posted to our website on the sport page as they become available.  When a new schedule comes online, we’ll notify you through our facebook page (www.facebook.com/worldseniorgames).  Did I mention that now is a great time to “Like” us so you can keep up with everything that’s happening? ;-)

Schedules will also be available in the Sports Den in the Dixie Center and at most venues.

GAMES SHUTTLE SERVICE
The Games offers a free shuttle service for registered participants who need transportation between their hotel and a sports venue.  Call the Transportation Desk at 435-986-6667 at least one hour and a half prior to the time you wish to be picked up.

LOST AND FOUND
Hey, we all misplace things once in a while.  If you should happen to end up with something missing, either call the Information Desk at the Dixie Center (435-674-5060), or stop by while you’re still in town.  All items found at the sports venues will eventually be taken to the Information Desk.

PHOTOGRAPHERS
SG Photo will return as the official photographer of the Huntsman World Senior Games.  Due to the number of participants and venues SG Photo will no longer be able to take an action photo of every participant. However, they are committed to take a picture of every participant or team making a reservation. Your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back.

In commemoration of the Games 25th Anniversary they will be offering a variety of products to mark the occasion. Be sure to stop by the Dixie Center "Photography Booth".  You may also contact them online at seniorgamesphoto@gmail.com or you can call phone at (435) 632-9212.

SPECIAL MOVIE SCREENING
Senior athletes and their families are invited to attend a FREE screening of the new documentary film about senior athletes chasing gold called AGE OF CHAMPIONS. Screenings will be held in the Dixie Center Auditorium (same building registration takes place) on Sunday Oct 2nd & Sunday Oct 9th at 10:30am, 1pm, and 5pm. Click here to watch the trailer and learn more about the film.

CANCELLATIONS
Remember our cancellation policy (one of the most liberal in the industry).  If you send us a written notice of your cancellation / request for refund (by e-mail, mail or fax) by September 30, 2011, we will send you a refund equal to the registration fee you paid less a $25 processing fee. Refund checks will be mailed by the end of October. There will be no refunds for requests received after September 30, 2011.
