Bowling has officially reached its registration cap for the 2013 Huntsman World Senior Games and online registration is now closed for the sport.
“We’re limited by the number of lanes in our community,” said Kyle M Case, CEO for the Games. “We hate to turn anyone away, but we just can’t fit anymore in.”
Pickleball has also reached its participation cap and is closed, but the rest of the sports remain open for registration.
Bowlers who have not registered but who are still interested in possibly participating should call the Huntsman World Senior Games office at 800-562-1268 to be placed on a waiting list. Those on the list will be placed if spots in their event open up through cancellations.
The Huntsman World Senior Games is the largest annual multi-sport event in the world for athletes age 50 and over. The Games take place each October in St. George, Utah, offering 27 different sports and welcoming over 10,000 participants each year.
