The first Sunday of the Huntsman World Senior Games is traditionally the biggest day for check-ins and today was no exception. Over 3,000 made their was through the check-in process, receiving their Athlete Shirt, Welcome bag full of goodies and great deals and their ID Badge.
Many of those checking in also took a moment to sign the birthday banner for founder and chairman of the board, John Morgan, Jr, who is celebrating his 90th birthday this year during the Games. John was also honored by the National Senior Games Association with a Personal Best award for his dedication to sport and perseverance in the face of adversity. The presentation was made following the Endurance Awards where Athletes who have competed at the Games for 15, 20, 25 and “hundred percenters” were acknowledged.
