After a Day of Rest, Competitions Set to Resume

Sunday was a day of rest from competition at the Huntsman World Senior Games.  Check in continued and longevity was recognized at the Endurance Awards where athletes who have participated for 15, 20 and 25 years along with the "hundred percenters" were honored.

Competition for week two kicks off with:

Basketball 5-on-5
Basketball Shoot - Men Free Throw and 3-Point Shoot
Bowling
Social Golf
Horseshoes
Mountain Biking
Pickleball
Shooting - Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays & 5 Stand
Softball
Volleyball
Walking Tours

In addition to the open competition, the Global Cup - World Senior Volleyball Championships will begin first thing on Monday morning.  Teams from Canada, Germany, United States and Venezuela arrived Sunday evening for the World Championship event.  Pool play takes place in the Dixie Center Monday morning between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and is free to watch.
