Check-in Begins

Sunday, October 4 marks the “real” beginning of the Games for hundreds of volunteers and several thousand athletes who all will converge on the Dixie Center today to check-in for their various events.  Before an athlete steps on track, jumps in the pool or takes a few practice swings with a bat, they must check in.

When an athlete checks in at the Dixie Center, he or she receives their official name badge will acts as a ticket to several events such as the Concert & Celebration, the Global Cup finals and their own sport social.  In addition to the name badge, they receive their welcome bag, full of goodies, money saving coupons to local businesses, their athlete shirt and the official Program with locations, schedules and other important information. 

Also located in the Dixie Center are a wide variety of vendor booths and sponsors who provide goods and services specifically tailored to Games athletes.  Many athletes enjoy the opportunity to peruse the Games official Gift Store as well once the check-in process is completed.

The Dixie Center on Convention Center Drive acts as the Games headquarters during the event and will be open during the following hours:

Sundays: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
Mondays – Fridays: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (Except Tuesdays until 5:30 pm for Ceremonies and Concert and Celebration)
Saturday, October 10: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday, October 17: Closed
