On March 1, 2010, with a click of the mouse, the Huntsman World Senior Games opened online registration for the twenty-fourth annual event. Response has been incredible, and all indications are that this year just might be one for the record books. Thousands have answered the call and taken advantage of the opportunity to register online. If you have not had the chance to do so, don't worry. It's not too late, but you will need to hurry. The last day to register for the Games is September 1, 2010.
"This year's registration season has really gone very well," said Kyle M Case, CEO for the Games. "We've had very few problems and the registrations just keep pouring in. I would not be surprised if we set an attendance record this year."
Those who would still like to participate in the Games, are encouraged to use the Online Registration system. Athletes who have registered online last year can (and should) use the same username and password. If athletes have forgotten theirs, this information can be retrieved by clicking on the "Forgot UserName and/or password link found on the Registration page, and it will be emailed to the athlete's email account.
The Huntsman World Senior Games is the world's largest annual multi-sport event for athletes age 50 and over. The Games offer 27 different sports and attract over 9,000 athletes from around the world.
