The Free Health Screenings offered at the Games are one of the ways the Huntsman World Senior Games works to fulfil its mission of fostering worldwide Peace, Health and Friendship.

All of the screenings at the Dixie Center are FREE to registered participants (and everyone on Saturday, Oct. 8).  In addition to the screenings, Athletes have the opportunity to get a flu shot for a nominal fee, which may be billed to insurance.

Participants may also elect to participate in one of the studies being conducted. Brigham Young University is performing a study on carotid artery, the University of California at San Francisco is studying coronary risk.

The primary screening dates are October 5-7 and 11-13, and are open to registered participants only – participant credentials are required. On Saturday, October 8, everyone is welcome to take advantage of the limited screenings, including volunteers and members of the community.

Of course these Health Screenings should not replace regular doctor visits.
