Athlete fees would be much higher if it were not for the generous donations of the Huntsman Corporation. Each year the Huntsman's participate in the First Week Ceremonies where they personally welcome all the athletes, their family and friends and open the Games with the lighting of the torch. The tremendous support of the City of St. George is easily recognized by superb venues such as the Canyons Complex where thousands of softball players come to compete for two full weeks in the largest slow-pitch event in the nation. St. George Area Convention and Visitors' Bureau Washington County is the hub of Color Country and the location for the Huntsman World Senior Games. Back To Top John H. Morgan, Jr.-President of the Games A life-long friend and founder of the Games, John Morgan dreamed of providing an athletic competition for men and women of retirement age. Under his sponsorship and direction, the Games have grown from 300 participants in 1987, to nearly 10,000 today. The impact of the Huntsman World Senior Games is far reaching and benefits include increased physical fitness, lasting friendships and treasured memories. This generous donation has enabled the Games to run its "free shuttle" for participants. Stephen Wade services and sells all makes and models of Cadillac, Chevrolet, Daihatsu, Mazda, and Nissan.

Stephen Wade also provides Official Volunteer t-shirts each year for more than 2,000 dedicated area residents who provide volunteer service before, during, and after the Games.
